The new plan for today is to implement email stuff – transactional and newsletters. With that, we'll have all our subscription methods covered. Then we should be on to polishing. ...or, well, then I want:

Core

  • Image uploads, starting with blog avatars. Then photo-centric posts, like Tumblr / Instagram
  • A local discovery feed?
  • Admin dashboard
  • Instance-wide moderation
  • Tagging (category) support
  • Change post slug

New features

  • Custom pages / pinned posts
  • Import from other platforms
  • Export data

Open webby

  • Webmentions, maybe. That could be neat
  • Recommendations, like how Ghost does it?
  • Allow quote-posting in the fediverse
  • Show mentions in the atmosphere, a la Leaflet
  • Publishing API, compatible with WriteFreely
  • Support the Mastodon API, so people can use Masto apps with this?

...so I guess plenty more to do. It does feel a bit silly to completely build this thing out like this without knowing if a single person is going to care or use it. But anyway, we'll forge on.
